Uma das coisas que o Professor responsável pela cadeira de guionismo salvaguardou, desde o início, foi que não devemos prender-nos às histórias com que entrámos no concurso, porque elas podem sofrer grandes transformações importantes que só acontecerão se deixarmos que a história se transforme.

Na quinta-feira passada, apresentámos em traços largos a ideia da nossa história, bem como novas ideias para mais 2 a 4 histórias. Ficaram, logo, várias sugestões no ar para cada uma das histórias apresentadas. A minha personagem principal pode mesmo mudar de profissão!

Para a aula de hoje, ficámos de fazer uma outline para uma das histórias que tínhamos apresentado. Discutimos as histórias de metade da turma (a minha fica para quinta-feira). Muitos progressos foram feitos na aula. O Professor consegue rapidamente orientar-nos para resolvermos os pontos mais fracos da história, do desenvolvimento da personagem, etc. Foi espectacular! Num instante, conseguimos resolver questões que pareciam estar a atrapalhar o desenvolvimento das histórias. Todos participamos. E posso, desde já, garantir que vão sair daqui histórias muito engraçadas.

Seremos grandes especialistas na arte de fazer curtas-metragens!

One thing the teacher of the script class said at the beggining of the course was that we shouldn't be attached to the stories we submitted to enter the programm, because very likely the stories would go through many important changes that could only happen if we would allow them to change.

Last Thursday we presented the stories in broad strokes, as well as 2 to 4 differente ideas for new stories. As we discussed the stories, there were suggestions made by the teacher right away. In my case, the main character might have another profession!

For today's class, we were to make an outline of one of the stories presented in class. We discussed the stories of half the class (mine is to be discussed next Thursday). Many progress was made. The teacher can quickly guide us into solving the weakest points in our stories or on the main character's development, etc. It was awsome! In a moment, we were able to solve matters that seemed to be in the way of the stories' development. We all participated. And I can now assure you that the stories coming out of this class are turning out to be very good.

Will 'll all be experts in the art of making short-movies!
